In Maine, Lynn worked for Scott Simons Architects for 8 years before starting Lynn Shaffer, Architecture by Design. Her work experience includes residences, library additions, schools, a town hall addition and a court house renovation.

over 20 years. Her designs display her love of elemental materials:
stone, wood, and water. Recognizing the impact of the built
environment on world resources, she is committed to practicing
